We hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday season. To add into the spirit of giving at this festive time of year, the teams at NCS are proud to share with you our latest efforts in our NCS Gives Back program. For the month of December, the teams at both e-giving Powered by NCS Services and NCS Solutions dressed down and donated to take part in our monthly NCS Gives Back program. This program is just one of the many ways that we at e-giving Powered by NCS Services continue our mission to help those who make a difference.
This month our collected donation, as well as the company match, was sent over to the Alzheimer’s Association to support the amazing work this organization strives to accomplish.
The world’s leading voluntary health organization, The Alzheimer’s Association works on a global and national level to enhance care and support for all those affected by this disease, is committed to accelerating the progress of new treatments, and advocates for critical prevention and care initiatives at the state and federal level. Through their work, this amazing organization hopes to one day eradicate Alzheimer’s disease.
In 1979, several family support group representatives met with the National Institute on Aging to discuss the value of creating a group to reinforce federal efforts surrounding this terrible disease. After this meeting, Alzheimer’s Association was founded on April 10, 1980 with Mr. Jerome H. Stone as president. Since this time, the Alzheimer’s Association works tirelessly to change the future of Alzheimer’s, touching millions across the globe in the process.
All employees were invited to participate in our program with a minimum donation of $5 contributed through our designated e-giving platform. This month, through combined efforts during our team fundraiser, we were able to gather $130. When coupled with the company match, we will be able to send a total of $260 to benefit the mission of yet another wonderful organization. There is no greater feeling than helping those who will, in turn, help others, and we’re excited to continue our efforts in the months to come. Thank you for sharing this exciting news with us!
